The Cairn Distillery sits at 57 degrees north of the equator in the Cairngorms National Park, inspiring the name of our range of blended Scotch whiskies. Each has been created to provide a taste of the future, replicating the aromas that may be found in the single malts released in decades to come.

Our ‘40’ delivers rich Sherry notes: cinnamon and nutmeg, stewed apple and walnuts with a hint of citrus and roasted coffee on the palate and finish.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich Sherry with cinnamon and nutmeg, beeswax polish, dried fruits and orange peel.

Palate: Smooth and sweet. Dried tobacco, citrus and charred oak. Stewed apple, walnut and spicy pepper.

Finish: Nutty, with mature oak and roasted coffee beans.
